Slowmo has added to its range with the Photron UX50 (32Gb on board memory) mono high speed camera. In the same compact body as the AX range of cameras, it offers an increased horizontal resolution of 1280 pixels with frame rates up to 2000fps.
The UX50 can record up to 2000fps at resolution of 1280 x 1024. Up to 4000fps at 1280 x 512. Contained within a 120mm x 120mm x 94mm camera body weighing just 1.5kg, it can be positioned into light spaces. The sensor is smaller than the AX range making it fully compatible with readily available 1-inch C-mount lenses offering a wide choice of small, lightweight, rugged and high aperture objective lenses.
Furthermore, it has the added advantage of increased focal length making it suitable for high magnification applications.
